Shift days & schedule: M-F; 8:00am - 5:00pm, 40 hours per week, full-time. The Annual Giving & Special Events Coordinator coordinates all annual fundraising programs and events that benefit Marshfield Clinic. This position oversees six annual special events, the annual employee giving campaign, the volunteer fundraising program and the Clinic's direct mail plan. The coordinator also works closely with all members of the Development Department to complete projects and promote a team environment.

 

Education: Bachelor's degree with concentration in communications, marketing, or related field. (Education qualifications must be from a school whose accreditation is recognized by Marshfield Clinic.)

 

Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years experience in fundraising, communications, or special event planning. Experience planning and implementing projects or events is required. Advanced computer skills required.

 

Exclusion from Federal Programs: Employee may not at any time have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid. This is a condition of employment. Employee must immediately notify his/her manager or the Clinic’s Compliance Officer if he/she is threatened with exclusion or becomes excluded from any federally funded program.

University of Wisconsin-Stout – Major Gifts Officers (2)

The Major Gift Officers are responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gifts-both current and deferred-to the colleges, departments, and programs of UW-Stout. The position complements the development efforts of the Chancellor and Deans and works closely with college faculty and staff, as well as the Board of Directors and staff of the Stout University Foundation. The Major Gift Officers work primarily with alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations to determine philanthropic interests and goals, and effectively close gifts in support of university, collegiate, and departmental fundraising priorities. CaringBridge – Fundraising Strategist

CaringBridge (www.caringbridge.org) has been growing at an unprecedented rate over the past several years.  In 2011, an aggressive strategic plan will help the organization to meet more of the tremendous need that exists for this service. Armed with a goal of 133,000 donors, a gift goal of $11.1 million, and a growth goal of 80,000 new sites, the organization continually introduces dedicated resources and tools for users/donors by developing broader mobile and social networking applications for more convenient and cost-effective ways to communicate  and to strengthen the healthcare and nonprofit partnerships who have become all important referral relationships for CaringBridge.

CaringBridge has a newly-created position for an experienced and innovative fundraising strategist. This position reports directly to the VP of Development and will lead the charge for designing and implementing a planned giving program.  She/he will be responsible for charting new waters by building a strategic plan and creating processes that support donors interested in supporting the mission through planned giving options. This Planned Giving Officer must be someone who is accomplished at solicitations and securing planned gifts, skilled at driving operational excellence around building a new program, and be able to recognize growth opportunities using incisive analysis and strong business instincts.
