“Brand is your organization’s personality, its identity and its own set of characteristics.”  Heidi will share from her recent journey in creating a brand to build their organization’s future.  She will share thoughts on the value of branding as well as a step by step process, including background research, resources, selection criteria, proposal development and basics of incorporating the new look.  Time for your questions will be provided.

Heidi Fisher has over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector.  Since March of 2006 Heidi has served as Executive Director for Literacy Volunteers – Chippewa Valley.  During that time they have branded the organization, created a first ever logo, relocated their central office in Eau Claire, increased student service numbers as well as the number of volunteer tutors.  Previous to joining the Literacy Volunteers – Chippewa Valley team, she worked as Director of Annual Giving and Major Gifts officer for the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, as well as taught high school at Menomonie Public Schools. Heidi is a strong advocate for non-profits in the Chippewa Valley and Wisconsin; her involvement includes serving on the CVFRP steering committee as president in 2003-2006 and most recently as founding partner of the newly created Wisconsin Nonprofits Association.

Bonus Presentation: Matt Schneider, CFRE, Past President of CVFRP and Major Gifts Officer for Marshfield Clinic, will provide an overview of the CVFRP web site and the newly developed Resource Library.
