Take a moment to think about the amazing things that happen in the Chippewa Valley, thanks to the many who give generously of their time, talent and treasure – if for no other reason than it’s the right thing to do.  Big or small, these folks are philanthropists in the truest sense of the word...and the Chippewa Valley is blessed with an abundance of them! 

We need your help.  Since 1999, Chippewa Valley Fund Raising Professionals (CVFRP) has annually recognized those who exemplify what it means to be a philanthropist.  We invite your help in nominating this year’s Outstanding Philanthropist and Outstanding Youth Philanthropist.  

Attached, please find nomination forms and criteria for each award.  Please complete the form with a letter explaining why this person is worthy of the award and forward per the instructions.  All nominations are due by August 1, 2008. 

Both the Outstanding Philanthropist and Outstanding Youth Philanthropist will be named and honored at CVFRP’s Celebration of Philanthropy in the Chippewa Valley scheduled for Friday, November 14, 2008 at the Florian Gardens in Eau Claire.  If you are not a member of CVFRP, and would like to be added to the invite list, please email me at rebman.patrick@mayo.edu.
