Cooperating Collections provide information, tools and training that can be used in successful grantseeking. At over 350 locations throughout the country, Cooperating Collections offer free access to the Center’s detailed information on grantmakers and how to apply for grants. The Foundation Center’s core collection includes The Foundation Directory Online Professional—profiling over 92,000 grantmakers and 1.3 million grants—Foundation Grants to Individuals Online, print directories and proposal writing guides. Cooperating Collections also hold sessions on how to effectively use these resources and identify potential funders. According to GuideStar, a national database of nonprofit organizations, there are over 540 nonprofit organizations in the city of Eau Claire.

The library, in cooperation with the Chippewa Valley Fundraising Professionals (CVFRP) and the ChippewaFalls and Menomonie public libraries, has developed a collection of resources featuring materials related to nonprofit management and leadership, board development, best practices, a comprehensive selection of fundraising related materials and much more.
